NEW - Heath & Well-being Resource for YOU
A new health and well-being resource has been launched for colleagues working in health and care across Kent and Medway, providing a wealth of advice and support in one place.
For the first time, Kent and Medway Well-being Hub brings together access to resources for staff working in different sectors. Created collaboratively with health and care colleagues across Kent and Medway, the hub focuses on proactive wellness, while making sure our people have access to support when they need it.
Designed to complement existing intranets and the Talking Wellness mental health hub, the new hub is broken down into sections, making it easy to navigate. Topics covered include financial well-being, work/life balance, mental health, staying physically well and how colleagues can support each other.
Rebecca Bradd, Chief People Officer at NHS Kent and Medway, which led on the development on the hub, said: “This new resource will help colleagues navigate the huge amount of health and well-being support available.Sometimes people have a tendency to only seek help when we feel we really need it but staying happy and healthy is just as important. The hub has been designed to be a resource that can be visited again and again, and certainly not just in times of crisis.”
Feedback during user testing was extremely positive, with colleagues saying the hub was ‘very useful and relevant’, ‘well categorised and clear’, and it was ‘nice to have all the information in one place’ with ‘short friendly messaging’.
More content will be added over time, including relevant training and events, as well as resources for different long-term conditions. NHS Kent and Medway is keen to receive feedback so future development of the hub is in line with what colleagues need. Please email comments to email@example.com.
