Introduction to DFC Team
The Dementia Friendly Communities Team are part of the Innovation Delivery Team at Kent County Council and work with Communities to increase awareness and understanding of Dementia, so that people living with dementia can continue to live in the way they want to and remain part of their community. This includes all parts of the community such as private businesses, voluntary organisations, care providers and people affected by dementia including sports and leisure organisations,shops, cafes, banks and restaurants to make communities more accessible for people living with dementia.
